Payen COO receives two nominations at the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2023

Payen is pleased to announce that its Chief Operations Officer, Sarah-Jayne Van Greune, has been shortlisted for two awards at the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2023: Compliance Leader of the Year, and Financial Crime Leader of the Year.

As the UK’s only awards to recognise teams and individuals across the compliance community, the ICA Awards hold great significance in honouring the teams and individuals who have been raising compliance standards over the past year. Being shortlisted is an acknowledgement of the tremendous effort that Sarah applies to her role at Payen and highlights the important work she undertakes with a compliance-first approach.

The Compliance Leader of the Year award recognises those who proactively engage with management, their team, and regulatory bodies to promote initiatives throughout the organisation and create a culture of compliance. Winners of the award showcase a dedication to raising the profile of compliance within their organisation and finding pragmatic solutions to overcome any obstacles in their way.

The Financial Crime Leader of the Year award is granted to an individual who has helped to advance approaches to financial crime detection, prevention and management in their organisation. Exemplary leadership, innovation, and implementation of best practice are key to a winning portfolio.

Sarah-Jayne said, “I’m thrilled to have been nominated twice for the ICA Compliance Awards. To be rubbing shoulders with some of the best names in this industry is not something I take lightly. Positioning compliance as a business enabler is what I love what I do, and to be recognised for that is really wonderful.”

The ICA Awards ceremony will take place on 27th April at the Hilton London Bankside, and will be an opportunity to spotlight those who have gone the extra mile in delivering excellence in compliance. To find out more, head to the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2023 website.
