Walking 9 to 5: Day 1 – Highlights

Today, Walking 9 to 5 officially stepped into stride – with teams across Spain, Canada and the UK kicking off the campaign in style to raise funds for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

From crisp morning walks to scenic lunchtime loops, Payen employees embraced the challenge with energy, creativity and heart.

Today’s walking daily challenge is:  Scenic Snapshot Challenge – capture the beauty around you and share the best walking views.  Each photo is a reminder that when we slow down and step outside, we find connection – not just with nature but each other.

It’s more than a walk – it’s a wave of kindness, stretching across borders and time zones. And this is just the beginning.

Walking 9 to 5: Day 2 – Highlights

What a glorious day to be walking! The sun was shining, spirits were high, and our teams were out in full force for Day 2 of Walking 9 to 5From scenic strolls to power strides, the energy was contagious—and the photo sharing? Absolutely top-tier.

Today’s daily challenge was a fun one: Mystery Step Count! A random number was selected behind the scenes, and tomorrow we’ll reveal whose steps came closest to the magic number. No hints, no clues—just pure walking luck.

Thanks to everyone who joined in, shared their snaps, and kept the momentum going. Whether walking solo or with their crew, all our team are helping us step closer to making a difference to the children and families at Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice —and that’s something worth celebrating.

Walking 9 to 5: Day 3 – Highlights

We’re officially midweek in our Walking 9 to 5 campaign—and the energy is still going strong! The Payen team is stepping up with purpose, positivity, and plenty of good humour, and we celebrated today hitting the half a million steps.

Yesterday’s Mystery Steps winner was none other than our CTO! Proof that even the busiest minds can sneak in some serious mileage. Whether it was stealthy walking meetings or a few extra laps around the office, we salute the strategy!

We’re also loving the four-legged participation—our team’s dogs are out in full force, adding wagging tails and sandy paws to the mix.

Today’s challenge? Walking Bingo!

From spotting a blue car to a stop road sign, our bingo cards were turning our  walks into mini adventures. It’s a fun way to stay mindful, get moving, and share a few laughs along the way.

Every step we take supports Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice—and every moment reminds us how powerful community can be when we walk together.

Let’s keep the momentum going!

Day 4 brought the excitement with our Mystery Object Day Challenge, and the competition is fierce!

Our Walking Bingo, competition had feet flying—but one person rose above the rest. Huge congratulations to our Operations Analyst, who claimed first place.

With many of our team members in London, the city streets became our walking track. From walking meetings to spontaneous team strolls, the energy was electric and the step count soared. It was incredible to see colleagues turning everyday moments into movement—proof that walking 9 to 5 is more than a challenge, it’s a mindset.

Let’s carry this momentum into the final stretch. Keep the pace, keep the smiles, and let’s finish strong together!
